This is really a consolation prize. On the way home this evening I saw a pair of Short Eared Owls hunting and displaying. I managed to get the long lens fitted and get set up behind a suitable wall. I fired off dozens of shots of the owls. It was only when I got back to the car that I discovered I did not have the CF card in the camera ... DOH !!

So here is the consolation prize, a landscape shot of Great Longstone in Derbyshire. Sorry, I know I had some superb shots of the owls, but this will have to do for today.
