A great aunt of my mother's came here in 1914 as a 22 year old nanny. She met the young parson at the Anglican Church and eventually married him. The difference between rural Wiltshire and backwoods BC must have been extreme.

The way in to Edgewood then was by sternwheeler. Although the original site of Edgewood was flooded in the 1950's, many of the houses were moved to this new site. The old church was replaced by this new one.
