Tokyo's Yosakoi Festival takes place on the west side of Ikebukuro Station.
Since 1969 the event has been held in October as the 2nd half of the Fukuro Matsuri.
During the event over 100 teams gather from across the whole of Japan to show of their high-energy routines.
I took 700 shots during this 2nd week of the Matsuri; all 1/2500th sec hand held with 70-200mm VR; the first week is mainly processions.
