This elusive Northern Parula has been coming to my yard to take a shower in my sprinkler for the last few days. We haven't had any rain for a couple of weeks and the birds have been visiting my sprinkler as I water the vegetable garden. Today I had a family of Tufted Titmouses, Chickadees, a Carolina Wren and then this Northern Parula. My husband and I are enjoying their antics as they fly through the sprinkler, drink from the trellis and chase each other about. It looks like a game of tag going on for about 30 minutes.
