Spider Lily

This unusual lily can be found in the swamps near my house. This one was growing in a ditch down the street.

We can find them all along the tracks from Gentilly to Michoud. Great detail and sharpness.

It's a good grower here too Elaine. I love how you pinked up the pure whiteness of the flower...excellent detail.

Very showy wildflower. You do have some lovely flowers down there. It must be beautiful in the spring.

This is really lovely. I never seen a flower like this and a lily ontop of it. Great shot, Elaine.

You captured this really well, Elaine. You're getting really good at close-ups. I love the detail in this white flower, something hard to achieve.

What a beautiful flower. My DIL went to a wedding yesterday and said the bride had these in her bouquet. I had never heard of them. Gonna have to check and see if we can grow them up here.

Good shot. Looks as though you really have it in a web.
