Moving Day?

On my way to work I ended up behind this house being moved. I just had to get a picture through the windshield. In fact, I've bought Windex wipes to keep in the car to keep my windshield clean just for moments like these.

Canon PowerShot A95
1/200s f/4.9 at 23.4mm full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I found where they moved it today, it is right on Hwy 90 near J.B. Martin. I'll have to stop and get some pictures of the restoration, that's a good idea. They had some people out there getting it set up today.

Do you know where they moved it to. It would make a great series following the restoration.Good idea about the wipes, I'll have to get some.

What a great idea-the wipes I mean. With a busy schedule like yours, it's a great idea so you can take photos on-the-fly.
I'm always so glad when I see houses like this moved and restored, rather than demolished. Nice catch.

How long were you delayed?? Great idea about the windex for photos! Now I'll even be able to see thru the glass, lol.

Maybe they're like me--don't want to pack up all the years of "stuff" so they're moving the entire house. Good shot through your windshield.

Interesting that they are moved in daylight hours...here it is from midnight until 7 am. Terrible though to wake to flashing orange lights & the slow grown of a low loader :>)
PaD helps to keep the car clean too.. LOL!!
