Crossing Emptiness - Bridges by René Greisch

Travelling southward from Maastricht you may notice several bridges functioning as landmarks in the crowded industrialised Maas valley. Most of them are the work of one man, architectural engineer René Greisch (1929 - 2000), and his company Bureau d'Etudes Greisch. Although they share common features, all bridges show their own identity.

This gallery is a work in progress to document the bridges and perhaps other works of Greisch. The gallery title was loaned from a publication by the Ailbertusstichting, about the Architectuurprijs Limburg 1994, which was awarded to Greisch.

Begint een heel mooi overzicht te worden. En als je een keer tijd hebt ben je nu ook de aangewezen persoon om in de Wikipedia een artikel over Greisch te zetten. Dat is er nu namelijk alleen in het Letzebuergisch! v.
