The Bordenhal ("dish hall") is one of only three surviving buildings of the former Société Céramique, the large ceramics industry in Maastricht. It was built during the last quarter of the 19th century and used for the firing of biscuit / bisque pottery and the decoration of earthenware dishes.
In 1999 it was transformed into a small theatre and serves as home for Theatergroep Het Vervolg.
