Immature Golden Crowned Sparrow

Southern Vancouver Island

Dusk was settling in and the birds were scouring through the blackberry bushes looking for food. I was trying to get in those last few shots before the light and the birds were gone! Golden Crowned Sparrow facts: The Golden Crowned Sparrow breeds from western Alaska south to northwestern Washington. They spend winters from Kodiak Island and coastal Alaska south to Baja California. ~ whatbird.com
