Usually it's crocus or snowdrops that are the first flower to announce the coming spring season,
however, on Saturday we visited one of our favourite local gardeners and there by her back door
was this beautiful miniature iris. We were bowled over by the beauty of this early bloom and while
she did have flowering crocus and snowdrops I couldn't resist focusing my shots on this iris.
