It was on the darker side of dusk when we saw two bucks headed across a field and something set them off on a run. Hadn't seen deer move like that for a long time...quite a sight! Deer facts: Deer don't really run, they bound, and they are able to move at a speed of up to 40 miles per hour, jump 9 foot fences, and swim 13 miles per hour.
