I built this eight-inch, f/6.2 Newtonian optical tube assembly for the specific purpose of prime focus photography. It has an extra long tube, two interior baffles and is lined with flocked paper. It is shown with an ETX-90 guide scope on a Losmandy G11 mount. The mount sits on a wide pedestal, which I also built specifically to carry a Newtonian telescope at a height lower than the Losmandy legs allow.
