I painted the bike using the same color of red (Torch Red) my '98 Monte Carlo has. It was a base coat and clear coat paint job and looks very presentable, especially given that its my very first. I polished the front forks and some motor side covers. I also changed the stock grips to larger diameter, foam covered grips. A throttle lock was added too. The saddle bags I used had integral signal lights, but I altered them to provide an extra pair of brake lights, keeping the stock Connie signal lights. I know there are lots of other little details I added or changed, but these are the most obvious and had the highest priority.
