Be Always Toilet Ready ! I Was Proud 6,503rd User In The Line...Raqchi

Peruvians adore paperwork. Here and there you will always see few people or officals walking around with notebook and writing down something, likely, very important. When you board the train or even the bus in some areas of the country, you must show not just a ticket but your passport too ! Your passport number, profession, social status, address, purpose of visit, dates etc. have to be entered in special questionnaire, and then regularly validated and verified by countless controllers checking it every 20 min. or so, as if you're about to immigrate to Peru ! It's coming down sometimes to abolutely hillarious extend. When we were issued the tickets to public toilet in Raqchi, I was laughing so hard that could not proceed with intended goal at all ! The text "usuario" on the ticket stands for "user" in English...

Dima, I promise that when I travel next time I shall attach thishttp://www.pbase.com/eldarrio/image/69691652 to my toilet ticket :-), and I hope that this will meet your approval ?!

Hm-hm... "usuario" ¹006503...
Nice document! But what a pity that there is no place for the usuario's photo in it!?
Such a disgraceful incompleteness in connection with the struggle against the world evil!

Hello Eldar. Super story and photo. It looks like everyone in Peru is on the take. Perhaps you could have used a few of these extra bank notes to secure a better position in line. But in any event, your adventure here gives a new meaning to the word "passport." Perhaps we should rename the word to "pissport." Who ever said "when you have to go you have to go" never traveled to Peru. Oy. Michael.
