Peruvians adore paperwork. Here and there you will always see few people or officals walking around with notebook and writing down something, likely, very important. When you board the train or even the bus in some areas of the country, you must show not just a ticket but your passport too ! Your passport number, profession, social status, address, purpose of visit, dates etc. have to be entered in special questionnaire, and then regularly validated and verified by countless controllers checking it every 20 min. or so, as if you're about to immigrate to Peru ! It's coming down sometimes to abolutely hillarious extend. When we were issued the tickets to public toilet in Raqchi, I was laughing so hard that could not proceed with intended goal at all ! The text "usuario" on the ticket stands for "user" in English...
