Married Man and Official, Taquile Island, Titicaca Lake

Knitting of all kinds of traditional crafts is men's business on Taquile island of Titicaca lake. They also have interesting "color code" or specific form of hat defining social status. Here on the left you see married man, on the right an official for islanders community.

What a colorful hats. Make sure you don't get lost in the mountains of Peru. Helicopter can find you from the sky . I like this image very much. VVV

A terrific cultural photo Eldar with good colors and skin tones.... and the expressions, goofy as they are, are really quite interesting. But what I really like about this photo is the information that I have gleaned .... look at those hats.... look how they fit these guys' heads.... surely, this is where condoms were invented. Actually, they were very distracted by our shootings, so I was hiding in the crowd and took this shot from about 30 m (!) away, LOL !

Yes, if look could kill, I would've been dead by now, LOL ! I found Peruvians, regardless of location, very hesitant and unwilling to be taken pictures of unless you approach them with dollar bill in the hand !
