This Italian dry red wine from Fontana Fredda is relatively expensive, - around $23 CND, but so-so in intensity :-(. It is light in nose, has red transparent colour and wonderful flavor of plums mixed with cherries. It's not very strong & flavorful wine, rather refined and elegant while reminiscent of French wines from Luara valley. That day this went well with rock hens stuffed with Brussel cabbage & sundried tomato tortellinies !
