Amigo, I wish I could understand what you were trying to convey about Kublai Khan, but failed. I know for sure, though, that in this place Mars is the Sun and Sun is the Moon and this is all I can say about it...

Hello Most Evil of All

Many months ago I wrote, as you have noted correctly, that I would comment on this photo in the future... as I must. It is indeed an incredible scene. And looking at it and contemplating on it, many related words come streaming through my mind: dome of pleasure, sunless, a waning moon, savagery, romatic, rocks, enchanting, hills, rocks, greenery, an ancient, measureless place, in motion .... and then it hit me. In the Resurrection of 1666 you have resurrected the immortal soul of Kublah Khan himself. Behold the poem:

In Xanadu did Kubla Khan
A stately pleasure-dome decree :
Where Alph, the sacred river, ran
Through caverns measureless to man
Down to a sunless sea.
So twice five miles of fertile ground
With walls and towers were girdled round :
And there were gardens bright with sinuous rills,
Where blossomed many an incense-bearing tree ;
And here were forests ancient as the hills,
Enfolding sunny spots of greenery.
But oh ! that deep romantic chasm which slanted
Down the green hill athwart a cedarn cover !
A savage place ! as holy and enchanted
As e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted
By woman wailing for her demon-lover !
And from this chasm, with ceaseless turmoil seething,
As if this earth in fast thick pants were breathing,
A mighty fountain momently was forced :
Amid whose swift half-intermitted burst
Huge fragments vaulted like rebounding hail,
Or chaffy grain beneath the thresher's flail :
And 'mid these dancing rocks at once and ever
It flung up momently the sacred river.
Five miles meandering with a mazy motion
Through wood and dale the sacred river ran,
Then reached the caverns measureless to man,
And sank in tumult to a lifeless ocean :
And 'mid this tumult Kubla heard from far
Ancestral voices prophesying war !

And so now I understand why I was so incredibly struck by this fantastic composition that knows no bounds and leaps across the centuries .... and is singularly resurrected above the universe itself.

Oy Oy Oy.

Ciao, Michael.

Lovely !!! You could be working in the film business making up these images. How do I get to hear the music ? Oh yeah I was wondering where you were from and it's my mothers home town TO where I crashed and burned into little bits of
crushed fragments.
