We see blue racers here in the Manistee National Forest near Hungerford Lake west of Big Rapids, MI. Nice snakes.

My dog actually got bit on the nose by one!!! I was scared until I looked it up and found out they're not poisonous!! I was so relieved!! My dogs are like my kids!!!!

I saw a blue racer in Ludington State Park. It was so beautiful and fun to watch as it chased a tiny moth! July 12th week, 2010.
