Nothing special. Just leaving myself a record of yet another B&W conversion test result.
A successful B&W is more difficult with fog or similar low contrast scenes (IMO). There is actually a true white (255 tonal level) and black (0)in this image but you'd be hard pressed to see it. The tonal range of low contrast images such as this one is mostly bunched into a small portion of the overall 0-255 range even when doing all that you can (as I tried in this image) to use the entire range.
