Switching to wildflowers, I noticed a patch of thistles while on a walk yesterday. Went back early this morning to give them a try. Hundreds of "buds" but very few in "bloom".
Almost to the mid-point of July with no non-flower PADs for the month. Didn't plan it this way but there's not much else interesting nearby at the moment. Going off to New Hampshire in a week so that will change.
