From the camera - not a Photoshop creation.
As more blossoms open - up to six now - the opportunities for this type of image get better. Still takes a lot of fraction of a millimeter camera movement forward/back and left/right to make it work. So far, I like this one best of the shoot throughs I've done over the past week.
The misty red is a foreground flower about an inch from the lens. The main subject, the magenta colored Christmas cactus pistil, is about 6-8 inches from the front of the lens.
