Today - no shoot throughs or other funny stuff, just straight shots of beautiful flowers. Today was a bumper crop. It was hard to choose a PAD from among four candidates. Everyone who knows the first comment a competition judge would make here - raise your hands. Everyone who said - "The maker should have an odd number of flowers - not two or four" - go to the head of the class. Another "guideline", that sometimes is good and sometimes not, masquarading as a "rule" carved in a stone tablet.
Well, anyway, for those who are not offended or distracted by these TWO Christmas cactus - enjoy. As for you judges, go look at the 2nd place candidate - or imagine that this is ONE really big flower.
