Spent some time with a bouquet of roses. Tried to see how many different ways I could shoot them. This one is fairly conventional. Examples of some more "far out" interpretations of a rose are - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/73425412 - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/73425411 - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/73425436
Each of the unconventional shots was made by using a long exposure - mostly in the 6-12 second range - while moving the camera. I was trying to paint using the camera as a brush (and light as the paint). Beats doing the same old, same old over & over.
