This morning in the rain (holding an umbrella over the camera and a plamp holding the plants still - more or less) while Ernesto made his approach up the coast. Paraphrasing the US Postal Service motto - "neither rain, nor wind, nor tropical storm shall keep me from my PAD..."
Still experimenting with triptychs. Now it's shifted from a photographry experiment to a viewer response experiment. This is the 4th try - the other three in terms of view-count have been complete flops. Not that I think the photography is anything special, but I was surprised - especially when the very first triptych was made up of three separate previous PAD heron images. Each of these individually garnered nearly 3-times the number of the views as the collection did as a triptych. Conclusion - triptychs don't sell. Decision - try to figure out what makes a "viewable" triptych since it obviously goes beyond the merits of the three individual images.
