On a high bluff (couple of hundred feet) above Lake Michigan in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Park. Got here early for sunset shots nad noted this particular spot while wandering about scouting locations. When sunset approached, I got back there and was not disappointed with what I found. Of the many nice sunsets that I've shot, this is one of a handful that made it to a frame on the wall. About 15 minutes later the sky virtually exploded in what looked like bright red balls of popcorn - but that's another image.
