5/11/05 - Triple Exposure

Technique from Tony Sweet's new book - three shots: one focused on nearest group of flowers; one focused on farthest group; one totally out of focus (focused at minimum focal distance to make the out of focus objects as large as possible - thus the glow & halos). The flower is a Golden Ragwort. Another triple exposure (different flower) is at http://www.pbase.com/image/43258828
Spent the morning at the site of the largest growth of trillium on the east coast - over 3 million in the wildlife area (plus tons of other wildflowers including large clumps of yellow lady's slippers). To see some of my morning's catch - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/thompson_wla
