11/10/04 - CCD Dust Bunnies

I'm getting tired of cleaning this CCD. The frequency is increasing even though the amount of lens changing is the same. I last cleaned it Saturday after coming home with images containing a large glob - AND - I hadn't even changed lenses once that day - AND - the glob showed up on the last 50% of the images but not the first. So, I have to conclude that the camera's mirror chamber is full of gunk. Argh!!! Well, the good news is that I'm getting pretty adept at cleaning it.

Maybe I can pass this off as a hawk swooping down on its prey.

Nikon D70

Could always pass them off as passing seagulls.

Sorry for your sensor woes, Ed, but if you squint a little and focus on the 2 red 'eyes' it could pass as a pink eyed bunny :)
