10/2/04 - Double Exposure

Self portrait. Went hoping for a nice sunrise and instead got heavy cloud cover without a hint of sun. Had to improvise a bit. Didn't want to come home with nothing. Tried to make the best of a big empty field with six 150 year old cannon. Back to wide angle.

Interesting. I like it!

This has a ghostly quality. One imagines a battlefield (from the Civil War, perhaps?) and your thoughts and reflections on what transpired there. (All in the mind of the beholder, eh?)

I like it Ed. You took the moment and created
something special. It seems everytime I "plan" on what
I want to shoot, something else makes itself work better.
