8/15/04 - The Real Web

I'd normally have gone with this one - http://www.pbase.com/image/32593212 - but thought this shot of a spider web was different. Speaking of different, in June I made this conventional "web pearls" image - http://www.pbase.com/image/30277505 - and said that something different was needed. Two months later and voila.

It's absolutely yummy - thats how perfect it is. Excellent against the green background and the detail and light on it .. brining out the curves and spaces in the intricacy of the spider web... nicely done..
