Still here in WV for the week. My wife wanted to take a scenic train ride. So - here's my wife reflected in the window of the train (the New Tygart Valley Express - new? one car was made in 1926) while viewing the scenic Cheat River (almost no water due to a drought) and the autumn splendor of the mountains of WV. The entire story in a single image - wife, train, river, and autumn leaves - and I didn't even have to move from my seat :-)
If you have four hours, a nice camera like the D300, a circular polarizer, a folded tripod used as a monopod, and patience it's surprising how many interesting images you can make (and I hadn't even planned to shoot on the train). Taking slow exposures of the colorful fall colors through a moving train window made for interesting results but that will be for another PAD.
