The Florida Sand Cockroach is a fossorial insect who's population is limited to sandhill communities and scrub habitat along the ancient sand ridges in the Florida peninsula.

Excellent job capturing this creature in a picture. From my understanding they're pretty quick and don't like to be around humans too much. I could not imagine something so unsightly being in my home. I'm pretty sure I would run out screaming if I ever saw one and refuse to come back until it had been thoroughly dealt with. Great work though!
