H.M.S. Royal Oak Memorial

St. Magnus Cathedral, Kirkwall, Orkney

The dreadnought battleship, H.M.S. Royal Oak was torpedoed and sunk by U-47
while at anchor in Scapa Flow just days after British entry into WWII.
It still rests on the bottom, just 5 miles to the south of St. Magnus.
The bell (seen above) is the original ship's bell, recovered and restored for use in the memorial.

other sizes: small medium original auto
