Jerry O’Mahony Diner Car Company built the diner in 1938 at their factory in Elizabeth,
New Jersey. In 1950 it was relocated to become the central hub of Fegley's Family Restaurant
in Reading. When the restaurant closed in 2003, the diner portion was rescued and preserved.
