Two cylinder, 18.1 horsepower. Autocar began in Pittsburgh in 1897 and took the
Autocar name when it moved to Ardmore, outside of Philadelphia. The company built half-tracks
during WWII. White Motor Car purchased the firm in 1953 and moved production to Exton,
Pennsylvania. It eventually became part of White-GMC-Volvo and the name was dropped in 1995.
