Pinholes in Process

Here we are using 0.001 inch (0.025 mm) brass shim stock. With the brass over a scrap of mat board,
the needle is used to press a dimple into the metal. The reverse side is then gently sanded with #600
wet-or-dry sandpaper, wet, to remove the upset edge and leave an approximation of a knife edge.
