M25 (aka IC4725) is a large open cluster with an apparent size of 26 arcmin, almost as large as the full moon. It can be seen with binoculars straight above the lid of the Sagittarius teapot. Full of bright young blue stars, it is 2000 light years away from Earth and is estimated to be 90 million years old.
