NGC1961 LRGB

NGC 1961 is an irregular, disturbed spiral galaxy in Camelopardalis. Though it has disturbed features, no obvious companion galaxy is found nearby. It is classified as SAB(ra)c, mag 11.7 and 200 million light years distant.

Exposure: 2 hours Lum, 5 minute subs unbinned , 45 mins each RGB 2.5 minute subs binned x 2
Processing: CCD Stack and PS CC
Date: 11/27/17
Sky conditions: Average seeing, average transparency and as usual the worst Bortle white light pollution.

I think some isolated peculiar galaxies have minor mergers with dwarf satellites.
