We subscribe to a service that provides fresh, organic produce each week. Saturday mornings between 8:30 and 9:30AM Laurie and I pick up our box of fruit and vegetables that have been picked earlier that week. You get whatever is in season at the time. Our box costs us $19.80/week. I don't think that the equal could be had from Albertson's (especially considering it's organic). The growers are all local. Unfortunately it is only in the Central Valley of California. This picture shows what came in this morning's box. We "add on" 2 dozen organic brown eggs also.
