Correct, the bird is a bare-eyed cockatoo, altho, most people refer to them as a short-billed corella (also called the little corella).. very common bird in Australia. The biggest difference between the goffin and the corella is around the head, goffins have a much more pronounced forhead and a "pointer" head due to their larger crest. They usually also have white eyes as apposed to grey/blue. There is also difference in the beak structure of the goffin which is impoosible to determine in the picture.. Altho, its a wonderfull picture btw:)

I believe the small cockatoos in this photo and the next are actually Bare Eyed Cockatoos. Goffins toos are slightly smaller and have more feathering around the eyes. There are photos of 3 Goffins posted on the "Bird Pics" page ofhttp://raave.com (Reno Area AVian Enthusiasts).

You may be right, but the marking around the eye on the birds in the 2 photos is a little different. It is difficult to tell without seeing the wing feather colors and the eye color of the female on the left. The second photo, of the Goffin’s is questionable. The marking behind the eye should be yellow and it looks more salmon in color in the sunlight. A tough call to make based on these 2 photos, but one of them is probably incorrect.

I'm no expert on cockatoos, but if the caption on the next photo is correct then the bird on the left in this photo must also be a Goffin's Cockatoo.
