This Tamarin is part of a small troop that are resident at the Singapore Zoo, they live in an open, free-range environment. The weather suits their needs, they're provided with food and medical care, and they choose to stay.

Beautiful creature, but cruel to keep as a pet. There is no way to duplicate the social, space, and diet requirements of a Cotton Top in a home environment. Many (MANY) years ago, when I was eight years old, we briefly had a male named Andy. Even though he had a large cage, even I recognized that he didn't have enough space. I hope whoever had him after us gave him a happy and good home.
