The Madrasa Jaharkasiye by Ayyubid Emir Fakhr al-Din Jaharkas (the Circassian), commander of Saladin's mamluks (d. 1211) and enlarged by former mamluk Khutluba for his own burial. Two linked funerary chambers are linked, having a separate prayer hall to the west.
