Ramadan was drawing to an end, in Turkey I would expect that to be followed by the "Sugar Festival", this was some sweets shop, where they had to park the many packages that had been ordered on the pavement outside.

I did not ask if maybe they had such production every day during Ramadan (after all, in the evening one may, and will, eat).
