Several shots of the minaret in the centre of the long wall facing the prayer hall. It is called the Tower of the Bride (Madhanet Al-'Arous). The lower part if ninth century, the upper part 12th century. The bride in question is thought to have been the daughter of a rich merchant who gave enough lead to cover the minaret roof and later became the sultans wife.
