Bosra has more to offer than "just" its theatre, but as it is one of the best preserved in the world, and has a remarkable black stone as building material, and as it finally was later turned into a fortification the theatre draws like a magnet. Tourists flock here, and do their utmost best to spoil each others pictures by constantly being in the field of view. I did clone a few out, but not many - I mainly had to wait and wait and wait. I suppose many tours will just do the theatre and then head on, but I spent quite some time in the antique town in the back of the theatre. By then some rain set in, so not all pictures have the sunny appearance that would have brightened that black stone a bit. In 2021 I finally found the time to write captions to several of the pictures, though some remain unidentified. You can find some locations of pictures using the map view. And if you know about some picture, please write a comment. Due to the war some harm has been done to what looked well-preserved in my pictures.
