The palaestra, from the third century AD. From the Wikipedia The palaestra was the ancient Greek wrestling school. The events that did not require a lot of space, such as boxing and wrestling, were practiced there. At some spot a pool was visible, with a small staircase leading into it. In its front was what remained of a mosaic that seemed to have seen better times.
