All these pictures were taken at the Etnographic Museum near the Blue Mosque and Blue Türbe.
Traditional festive shepherd’s costume from Karakeçeli villages near the district town of Keles (55 km south of Bursa).
Still produced today, due to the huge demand on behalf of folkdance groups from Bursa town and other major Turkish cities.
All accessoires of the costume are homemade, involving weaving and embroidery work of diverse art.
This costume numbers up to fifteen items.
