The octagonal Türbe (mausoleum) of Seyit Battal Gazi, seen from the northwest (this is: from behind the monastery/medrese). While the Ottomans kept the inner structure of the Seljuk grave monument from 1208, they re-shaped (in 1465) the exterior to achieve this full-Ottoman appearance.
To its right: the mosque, which was almost completely reshaped by the Ottomans in 1511.
