Manisa 6044.jpg

All these pictures represent a big complex. There is the Sultan Camii, built in 1522, it was founded by Ayşe Hafza Hatun (died 1534). In front of it there is the medrese, a bit off in the garden there is the hamam (1540) and a daruşsıfa (hospital, 1533), now housing a museum about health care.

The mosque. There were school visits going on, so you'll see lots of children entering the mosque.

These are good quality Iznik tiles.
