I asked the way to the Endymion Temple and was told this was it. I used to have doubts as a Byzantine Church would be close. However, I have since seen a picture of the same spot, naming it as the temple (or rather"shrine), and found it had five pillars in its front, indeed there were such columns here. So I conclude this is the Endymion shrine indeed.
