This is the Sokollu Mehmet Paşa mosque, built by Sinan, 1571, for Esmahan Sultan, daughter of Selim II and wife of the Grand Vezir Sokollu Mehmet Paşa. I have more pictures elsewhere. This is just a shot to indicate what to expect if you climb the steep stairs to the central court. Do go inside, the tiles are among the greatest Iznik tiles.
